Service to the Community
2016 - 2018
Two times per year I volunteer my time to be a Child Passenger Safety Seat Instructor through Safe Kids Worldwide. Participants in this week long training do so to have an impact with child safety in their communities by teaching parents and caregivers the correct way to install a car seat.
2015
For 5 years I have been the Race Director and Coordinator for an annual 5k Run/Walk event that raises money for Emergency Medical Services and Line of Duty Death. In this time, with the help of some wonderful volunteers, we have raised and donated over $20,000 to the EMS National Memorial.
